Limitless STEAM Lab

I was born on December 11, 1988 in Varaždin. I graduated from the School of Electrical Engineering in Varaždin in 2007 and obtained the title of mechatronics technician. In 2015, I graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka, obtaining the academic title of master of mechanical engineering (mag. ing. mech.) process-energy orientation (CUM LAUDE diploma). The topic of the thesis was "Project of the turbine part of the gas turbine".Since 2017, I have been working as a teacher of technical subjects of the engineering group at the Varaždin Electrical Engineering School. In addition to teaching at the aforementioned school, I was the head of the laboratory for digital fabrication (FABLAB MEC). In the laboratory, we dealt with 3D drawing and 3D printing, as well as mobile robotics and drones. I am one of the mentors at the Varaždin County Center of Excellence in new technologies. In the Center, I teach 3D drawing, design, and 3D printing. I actively participated in numerous EU projects related to development in the STEM field. Some of the more significant ones are SYS-STEM, FABLAB, ECWORK and many others. Together with the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, I co-authored the curriculum for the DRONE PILOT ACADEMY. From September 28. In 2020, I work as a teacher of vocational subjects at the Ruđer Bošković Technical School in Zagreb. At the aforementioned school, I teach robotics and additive technologies. I am a member of the management team of the Ruđer Bošković Regional Center of Competence, and I actively participate in writing the professional standards of the RCK Ruđer Bošković. Since 2019, I have been the director of Limitless Design j.d.o.o. which deals with aerial photography, 3D design and 3D printing for industry, organizing and holding 3D pencil drawing workshops for children from 4 to 18 years old, and courses in the field of additive technologies for and STEAM for primary and secondary school teachers. Within the company, I am one of the mentors and head of the Limitless STEAM Lab. Together with Limitless STEAM Lab, this year I mentored elementary school students who won 1st place in the GeneracijaNOW competition with our mobile robot "Bee". The said competition was organized by the Institute for Youth Development and Innovation - IRIM. We are currently working on projects to strengthen the STEM competencies of teachers in terms of holding courses for teachers, writing curricula and textbooks, and holding workshops for students. Since 2000, I have been actively involved in the production and design of unmanned aerial vehicles of all types in my spare time.
